Default Pulley, Tune, Intake, WHOA

2008 GT 500

Just finished the install.
Was in third gear doing 25 mph going up hill.
Floored it and talk about the car having some pull.

Massive power and torque gains in the BUT DYNO.

It's stupid isn't it??? Lol

Makes a huge difference in these cars. Just wait till you upgrade blowers and you will have the same experience again.

Gotta do chasis first.
It wants to get a little squirrelly when hammering it.

Got a package deal from VMP.

JLT 123 intake, VMP 2.5 inch blower pulley with a 90mm idler and the pulley removal and install tool.
All for a little more than a grand.

Did you do the pulley swap yourself? I have the toolset, i have a tuner...all I need is a CAI, pulley and the tunes but Im a little nervous about the pulley swap and f'ing up my supercharger. I've swapped pulleys before on power steering and water pumps so I dont know why Im nervous about doing this.

Putting in the CAI was almost a piece of cake.Just had work at getting things in the right position before tightening it all down.

Changing the Idler pulley was easy.

Changing the blower pulley was easy AFTER getting it to "POP" loose.Needed my neighbor and two long breaker bars to get it to pop.
