Overall, Im very satisfied with them. There is one post that is just slightly off on the drivers side, but that's totally nothing to worry about as I would expect that even in an OEM light. It was still well within what I'd consider to be acceptable specs. They look a lot better in person even though they look great here. They are a little less "Vegas-y" (yeah I said it!) and I have no reservations recommending them. Now if the snow would melt and it would warm up for a couple of days, I could maybe get on the road! Also if the trunk looks a little weird you have a good eye. I left it propped open just slightly for all of the pics.

I highly recommend a box end 11mm ratcheting wrench for the install. Also, if you have the Shaker 1000 sub...you're in for a bear. Its a very tight fit. I could have pulled the sub, but nah...I can do it That one nut took as much time as the other 5 put together and do not drop it for heavens sake!

They look good but would you say the LED's are very obvious in person? I've been debating on buying a set but in all the photos I have seen the LED's aren't masked very well when lit.

They really arent bad. To me they do appear softer in person. The white LEDs though are super bright. Like the things will make you go blind! When they are not active, its really blacked out too. It would look really badass on your black GT500.

I agree, these things would look sick on a black car.

Also the LED sequentials seem timed perfectly. As we all know, there's no effective way to slow down the flashers on the 05+ so the last light flashes super quick. With these the timing of the flash is still the same length, but they did a great job of making it appear factory with the pace of the flash sequence.

The install guide isn't very good, but having done sequentials on 4 cars now, I didn't need it. It also said 2 hours to install. Haha...yeah. I was done in 30 minutes even with freezing fingers and snot dripping from the cold. They are easier to install than sequentials because you replace the entire unit.

Very nice! I'm glad to hear you were able to get your Gen5 taillights installed. They look incredible on the GT500's with the rear diffuser and deck lid spoiler! Keep up the great work with your build and let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future.

I'm pretty jealous that I don't have my S197 GT anymore, now that these are available!

Love the looks just too expensive for a mod such as lights.
American Muscle can you put them on sale for Christmas?

Blacksmoke,

We're working on bringing these lights back in stock and filling all of the back orders ASAP. I'm sure we'll have a sale sometime down the road, but we have to fill all the back orders first! Everything should be in stock come late January though.

We're also doing our best to speed this process up!
