Questions about my 12 Gt 500
Fairly new to the Shelby world. I bought my Shelby from a local dealership (non ford) and I don't have know any background on the car. Im not sure if it was modded or not but I did notice that the pulley does not look stock. From these pics can anyone tell me possible what size pulley this can be or if its the stock pulley. If it is aftermarket it would have to have a tune right? The dealer did not know squat about this car either. It runs great but its just killin me that I don't know any history on it....Thanks for any info...

Def. had pulley. I hope you got the tuner or your factory tune is gone forever/ would need to put it back to stock and figure out whats on it and start from scratch to make sure the tune is right.

It is a Metco. I noticed it on the bracket arm the pulley is on. As far as a tuner.......Nope.....The dealer did not provide this with the car.....So if I can't track down the previous owner and he doesn't have the tuner...What do I do if I want to get a new tune?

Just order a new SCT and tune from a vendor and flash it. Should be fine.

You will need to have the 4 digit code for your computer, which is located on a sticker on the computer in the front passenger side of the engine compartment. That way the tuner will "marry" itself to your car, and it will contain a tune specific to your vehicle. I would suggest contacting VMP tuning and buy the tuner from them and let them do the tune for it also.... That's the only way you will be positive it is 100% right. Justin is one of the best tuners in the business. Their website has a quick form to fill out, listing your mods so the tune will be perfect for your vehicles configuration.
