Default Stock Navigation to Shaker 1000

I bought a 2009 GT500 it came with the stock navigation system. However, I owned a 2008 with the shaker1000 system and I absolutely loved it. It wouldn't hurt me to part ways with the navigation in order to get the shaker1000 my question is what would I need to do so?
I have the subs and amplifiers from my old one and I can get a shaker1000 unit. Would this be a plug and play situation? Or is the wiring not present?
What are the differences between the sound systems in the car with the navigation and the car with the shaker1000?
Thank you for all the info.

you would need a radio from a Shaker 1000 car, and run the power and audio wires to the rear subwoofer. you'll have to part with the navigation, I don't think you could get S1000 with nav.

I've researched having a new Shaker 1000 with navigation installed in my 2012 GT500 at the dealer and it can be done for approximately $3800. I don't think I want one badly enough to pay that much.

I have my Shaker 1000 head unit from my 06 that I replaced with a Navigational unit... I'm not using it. Let me know if you're interested? Might help you piece together what you need.
