Default 1995 convertible

Got the vin# 1FALP45T6SF213897 from owner for a 1995 convertible he is advertising as an "Excellent 1995 Ford Mustang Saleen convertible"

I have no bumper number yet but can you tell if it is real by just vin#?

It has all the badges and other stuff listed in the Saleen Book.

Thanks

Default 2001 Mustang Saleen? #151

Is this the real deal or fake?
Vin# 1FAFP45X11F12541
I.D. 01-051
MFD 11/00
1F125418
Black-conv-automatic S281
Non S/C
Bumper sticker #151
Hoping it's the real deal or someone invested a lot to make it look and ride like one.

Ford VIN ending in 1F12541 is Saleen #01-0151, a 2001 S281 Mustang convertible, normally aspirated in black with dark charcoal interior. It is an automatic. It was shipped with floor mats and the chrome wheels options.

Literature regarding equipment and specifications, including ads, dealer guides, vehicle brochures and articles are available in SOEC's Literature archive at:

http://soec.org/literature/

The Saleen Book has a nice history on Saleen Mustangs from 1984-2003, and we have them available. We also have copies of The Saleen Owner's Registry 1984-1996, which has different history and background on both Saleen Mustangs and Sportrucks through 1996. You can order these great books from here:

http://soec.org/store/merchandise-books/

It is recommended that the owner (potentially you) purchase authenticating documentation from the new Saleen Automotive that contains more definitive and authoritative info than I am able to give -- such as a Letter Of Authenticity or a copy of the window sticker -- they are available to owners (not shoppers) for a charge and you must order them online:

http://shop.saleen.com/Accessories_s/80.htm

Be sure to plan now for the annual Saleen Show and Open House on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Saleen's headquarters in Corona, CA. For more info, visit http://www.saleenshow.com

Saleen doesn't come up when you run the VIN. They all come up as Mustang GTs. Call Saleen they'll verify the vin or email Jim D.

Default Can anyone tell me if my Saleen is real?

I just bought a 2001 Saleen VIN 1FAFP45X21F228525. There was no number on the console and I can't read the one on the firewall but the bumper has the number 30 on it. Can you please let me know if it is a real Saleen or not. Thanks in advance for your help.
