Ok i have finally got some time to take some pics. I got this car from a 45 year old mad, who had like 20+ cars. He got it of old man how lived up the street from his house. He remembers when the old man bot it and drove its home. This car has always had these symbols from day one. It has always been the same ride hight, moonroof, center delete, and White 1990's style waffle rims. 90's Saleen 's come with waffle rims. Let me know if there is anything you wont to know or see pics of. Thanks for the help

It's real. Options include: Supercharger, 10in. rear wheel upgrade, Speedster Package, Mats, 13in. brake upgrade, Chrome Wheels, Black top. Good luck and post some pics if you purchase it.

Sweet ride tomoshea84!

What you have is the California Sport that Saleen produced. Not to be confused with the nation-wide 1992-93 GT Sport. The 1993 Sport had the add-on rear wing, ARE produced DP-5 style wheels. (The '92 Edition might have had standard polished 5-star AREs.)

Consider the CA Sport to be like a regional dealer special.

Oddly enough, just yesterday when I was going through the boxes of Saleen material for the next leg of the archive project... I came across the press release(s) and production info for these CA Sport cars. Crazy.

The CA Sport is a neat footnote of Saleen History. Enjoy it!

(See my following post, car is probably an '88.)

Hi Musxtreme. As Mike noted, numbers no match to the Saleen Registry printed in 2003.

Look for the Saleen Serialized firewall plate (mounted on the passenger side) and see what it says. Double check the digits as well.

Also, contact Team Saleen for a line of their knowledge if and when you find a Saleen Vehicle you want to purchase.

Best wishes!
