Thank you very much for your time!!!!! I will make sure to contact them, one question though am I contacting them to change the ownership registry into my name? Thanks Again
No problem, I love seeing new people get into these!
Contacting Team Saleen will be two fold.
1. They can verify the vehicle for you, build stats (color production etc), options etc.
2. Your name will also be added to the Saleen Registry for this particular Saleen.
Cheers and best wishes

The quick story is it is a theft recovery.
Its a 99 rag top vin# 1FAFP45XXXF106827.
The car is missing the front bumper engine and hood. If its real i can give it a new home.
Also my e-mail is iflyjets03@yahoo.com
The car that corresponds with the last three of that VIN is a Coupe, NOT a convertible. I would have to say fake, but would need the Saleen ID to verify further.
That is correct. P45 is for a Vert whereas, a P42 would designate a Coupe. If you want to verify for sure, call Saleen with the VIN and they can tell you, but the book list the car ending with the last 3 of the VIN you posted as a P42 (or Coupe) chassis. However, the book is known to have mistakes. Your best bet is to call Saleen or MJ Acquisitions, whatever they call themselves these day, directly.
I just purcased this vehicle from a salvage auction for a great price. Very lite tap in the rear & front. I bought it thinking that it was a fake Saleen ,but the more i look at it i suspect it mite the real deal. Its a 01 vert supercharged, but that was swiped. vin#1FAFP45X11F258339. Bumper ID 013. Any help anyone mite have would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like the #13 is an unlucky # for you Cliffo.
Here is the original Saleen Data-
Car#01-0013
Last three VIN-227
P42 Body style= Coupe
Ship Date- 10/24/00
3.55 gears
Floormats
ChromeWheels
The good news is that the Saleen Body Parts and any others from Saleen that were added to the car are worth more than average mustang parts.
Later,
mike
