As far as I know, the only way to get the rear difuser is if you buy an E car. It isn't an option for standard Saleens. I think they want the visual for E cars only, as a way to help tell them apart. It reminds me of when the E car first appeared in 02; the hood on this car was sweet, and a lot of people wanted it for their standard Saleen. But Saleen wouldn't sell it; they wanted it e car exclusive. They did end up puting it on the market, but it took till the end of 03 before it was avalible to the general public. Same deal with the series V blower. It was E car exclusive for a while; only wat to get one was to buy the car. I think the difuser will be the same deal. It will probably becaome avalible, but not for at least another year. Oh, and E cars get 3.55 gears with the T56.
Do the 19" wheels look the same as the 20" wheel? Are they wider?
Nothing is ever set in stone with Saleen til it emerges, but it looks like the 19' rims will be wider in back, and be able to support a wider width tire than a 285. The $ for 19's vs 20's is considerable, but the best part is there are actually options avalible in different rubber companies. Right now with the 20's, there are like 2 companies that offer rubber in an appropriate size. With the 19's, there are several.

Good thinking Birdie. It would be cool to have one of the first, or the first, but I think you're thinking ahead, so that's good.

I don't remember you saying what color you went with, or have you not really decided? I'm excited for you to get yours especially since you've been waiting SO long.

The color will be black. I'd love to do beryllium again, but it is now a $15,000 option. 15k for paint is a lot. They also do a gorgeous pearl black custom paint, but it is still a 15k option. So, ill settle for standard Ford black. My next 2 choices would be mineral grey, and gray. So black with chrome rims it shall be.

How many people buying E-cars are doing the scenic roof? Just curious.

The E upgrade is available through aftermarket and has been finished on one car already. Call and ask for Carlos Duran for help with that.

Yikes! 15k is a lot for paint, but it'll still be a beautiful car for sure! I can't wait to see it.

Nah, 12-17k for a custom paintjob is about right. They don't just tape it off and spray, it get's completly disassembled.
The one's I've seen look incredible.
