There was a thread in the 2005 section where folks were thinking they would get up to S281E specs for $999 Bunch of pictures. As you will see by my last post in there - I am not imressed. I think Saleen should up their price by $1000 or so and include some NICE headers, valve covers (or powdercoat) and a CAI kit [&:]

The intake tube looks pretty much like a stock one. It's probably the lamest looking aftermarket intake tube I've seen yet, I was expecting something in line with the rest of Saleen's styling.

Here is a link to a pic that I took a couple of weeks ago when I was down picking up a stock order. We have 5 of the 475HP kits on order right now with Saleen! If anyone is interested in purchaesing one, please let us know. Currently our ( Haney's) price has not been set, BUT it will be below Saleen's retail price. If calling Carlos at Saleen, tell him to redirect you back to us....lol.

I have an 05 non-SC Saleen and am interested in the upgrade. The response I got from Saleen was that the car would not be warranteed if the SC was added (even if done by a certified rep). The car is celebrating it's 1 year this month and i'm Very interested in knowing what my options are. I see in this post 2 references implying they did the same change and kept the warranty. Please forward any info related. I'm glad to have found the posts for the 1K upgrade. Unless there is a reason not to do this also it is in the must-do list.

From what I understand, you will loose your current warrantee but, all aftermarket Saleen parts have a 1 year 12k mile warrantee.
