What kind of exhaust come stock with the 2000 saleen s-281 supercharge. Also which exhaust will be better for it, I was thinking of installing some borla x pipes.

Im not positive but I think Saleen uses Borla

MD is right, Saleen uses Borla. Saleen went to Basssani x pipe in 02, 00's have an H pipe.

I own (it's for sale) a 01 S281. It has borlas with the H pipe. I also have an 02 S281E. This came with the same mufflers, but with an X. There is a considerable difference in sound. One isn't necessarily louder than the other, it's more the sound range through the rpm's. Yes, the 02 is a little louder, but the biggest difference is that the 02 stays louder throughout a greater rpm range. The loudest rpm for the 02 is right around 3000 rpm. At 3000 rpms, the 01 isn't as loud. Is it worth doing? Maybe and very debatable. I probably wouldn't for the $ if it was me. You'll pick up a few horses with the x, but for the $ to do it, I might consider other hp mods first. Maybe headers, for instance. Tough choice, no wrong choice in my opinion.
