Default Do I need an oil separator or do I have a bigger problem?

Ok, before I start panicking I thought I’d share this pics with you guys and hear what you have to say.

Have any of you guys had this problem with your S/C?
I first notice a little hesitation. Then my dad told me that white smock was coming out of my car (exhaust) when I started it in the morning. I decided to check it out and SURPRIZE SURPRIZE

Thanks!

Ok, I took the K&N CAI of and there was some oil in the throttle body. However there was no oil at the filter nor at the end of the tube. Is the oil coming from the S/C ? Any ideas?

Thanks![]

Are there any vaccum lines attached to the tube?

Guys I’m begging, I little feedback please. Has anyone experience this with their car? What I have read, oil separators are a must in blown cars (according to Steeda). However, I would like to know if this is the solution or is it something else.

PolkThug, thanks foryour reply. I think thier is one vaccum line attached to the tube. (sorry I'm no expert and I'm new withmustangs)

I'm running an oil separator in my car and it does work. I have to drain it fairly often, but more often when I've been really getting into the boost. If you get into your car a lot then you probably could use the separator.

Now, is the little oil that's getting pulled into the system under boost the only reason for the smoke and hesitation? That I can't tell you.

Is the inside of that line oily?

Yeah that sounds right. When I get into the boost sometimes the car hesetates And now that you mention it I have seen more oil at high boost than when I just relax and cruise. If you dont mind asking wher did you purchas the oil separator?

I had my installed by Chicane when I was having some other work done. I don't remember the cost of the piece or installation. Sorry. But it wasn't that expensive.

This is the first time I am hearing this on the new saleens. If it was an issue I would think Saleen would install one.

I'd get out some lights and a mirror and try to narrow down where its spraying out of.
