Question on the numbers....are the S281 cars and S281SC cars numbered in order together? Or are they numbered separately? Or is it just the Extreme's have a separate numbering system unto themselves? Thanks

My understanding is the Extremes are seperate and the 3 valve's and SC's are together as it applies to bumper numbers.

That is what I was thinking. I really do not think Saleen made much over my #1534 in Supercharged S281 cars alone. Thanks

I believe the SC and 3-valve are numbered together.

S-281's and S-281 SC's share the same numbering system. There arenot 1500 + SC cars built. Its more like a 70/30 split in favor of SC's over 3 valves (at least thats the way it was in 2005 and looking that way again). E cars get their own numbers so you won't see an E car with a number much higher than 150ish unless its a clone

Here is what I have for the 2005 Numbers from what I understand 2006 production is likely to be a fewunits higher but based on same numbers. Sowaxeman I think you might have your percentage mixed up a bit there. This is what Saleen has for the 2005 production, still no words on anything for 2006.

S281 3V Coupe = 945
S281 3V Conv = 92
S281 SC Coupe = 232
S281 SC Conv = 79
S281 E Coupe = 3 (ALL R&D MODELS)
