2010 427R
What up all!
I just purchased a 2010 427R~. Very happy with the new ride and want to get some info as per oil selections. Since the 427R is supercharged how different would the viscosity be compared to GT's, or would u run the same grade.
I am pretty new to muscle cars but hitting 30 this year and worked really hard for one.
My research into muscle cars has landed me into the world of Stangs now!!
I am loving the 427R and would like to do my best to take care of it.
So any helpful information would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!~ I'm guessing with the Royal Purple its gonna be the best thing for me to push my engine with and have the best results then eh?

Congrats on the car.
5W-20 is recommended by ford and Roush for the 10's. Some use different viscositites based on their region though. The supercharger's oil is self contained so you don't have to worry about that.
Any good synthetic oil will work out great. I use Royal Purple in all my cars now (from Mobil one) but my 2010. I tried royal purple on it about a month ago and just didn't seem to like it. Probally fluke though as it's good stuff.
Have fun with the car and be sure to join FNsweet.com and try to attend a Roush signing event. He's a great guy to meet and will sign just about anything on your car.
