I would suggest that you call Patti at Saleen, she is extremely nice and very helpful.. I spoke with her today and she confirmed the Saleen I bought today was an Original.. Obviuosly I waited until I spoke with her to close the deal.. I just bought 01-0614 S281 vert today..... Its being delivered from Cali. in about 3 weeks.. I live on the East Coast., cant wait to get it....

NH4you.....congratulations on the 2001 Saleen!

Are you from NH.....Manchester area? If so I have a friend that lives around there.I helped him build his first Mustang where we grew up (PA).......he has probably forgotten more about Mustangs than I know

Hey Guy's ,

I posted a while back when I first purchased my Saleen, Under "NH4you.". Actually someone in the forum helped me verify it was a lefit Saleen and gave me Patti's contact info @ saleen... well it finally arrived about 6 weeks ago.. Enjoying the hell out of it..

Been a FANTASTIC SUMMER for a convertible..... Working out a few mechanical bugs .. I may have already posted in the 4.6 tech forum about the performance issue..if not I will be..lol..

Planning on a few cosmetics over the winter, rims are pretty rashed up and flaking chrome..

I talked to Pati about this a couple weeks ago and it's on the "to do list," but because of a computer system glitch it's got to be sorted out and won't be any time soon.

They'll be posted at soec.org as soon as they're available; but again, that won't be any time soon.
