Only a 1 year warranty on the 281 SC E?

Only a 1 year warranty on the 281 SC E?

I am thinking about ordering a 2005 281 SC E, but why only a 1 year warranty? Does Saleen not beleive in this car or was my salesman misinformed? Please tell me that it comes with a 3 year warrantly because I really want this to be my next car.

I'll have to double check on this, but I think for 05 all Saleen mustangs come with a 2 year warrany, on top of all the existing ford powertrain warranties. The 05 S281E should be a hell of a car. Where are you thinking of ordering from?

Freedom Ford in Clearwater. But if it only has a 12,000 mile warranty for 1 year that will be a deal killer for me.

Did you already talk to Clearwater about getting an E in 05? I know for the most part they are almost all accounted for.

Yes, I told them I do not want it until the end of year. It could even be a 2006? I do not know what month of production Saleen changes the model year.

Wow, thats awesome that you want to get an E. I was looking at the Saleen website and the 2004 model is listed with a 36 month/36k mile warranty. I wouldn't think they would change by year, but maybe they do.
