Karaldesdes

So I read in this forum something to the affect that all 2005 s281-e's are "Accounted" for...does this mean that there is only a certain amount they make and every one else is out of luck? Also, if that is true then how many are allowed to be produced per any given year or more specifically this year (2005)? Sorry for the newbie question but I used to own a 2000 s281 black beauty and am now looking/wanting to upgrade to the "E" but figured I could wait til production to order it. I guess thats was the wrong way to go about it.

With the new E car hitting that magical 500 hp mark, it has increased the enthusiasm and thus demand on the new E car. In 05, the E car will start hitting the streets in July. Because of the shortened build year, they will probably only make around 30 E cars for 05. I know the dealer I am getting mine from is full as far as their 05 orders. You could probably still get one if you acted fast. I would call Jerome Duncan Ford in Michigan. They are a big Saleen dealer and mkight be able to get you into one. The main problem is the # of E cars built for 05. Not every Saleen dealer that wants one will get one. The nod goes to the bigger Saleen dealers as far as avalibility. I would call Jerome Duncan, and a few of the bigger dealers about ordering one. It is probably still do-able, if you acted fast.
