Hi guys,
I'd like to add a blower to my '05 S281, but I read several of the threads about emission issues, Whipple issues etc. Has anyone added a blower to an '05 S281. I was looking at he KB or Procharger kits. Thanks for any advice or help.

Sit tight and wait to see what happens. Vortech aleady makes a nice blower kit for the 05's. I would just wait a bit to see what else comes avaiable in the coming months as the 3V is still so new.
If you own an 05 S281 your car may not be emmissions legal. There are a lot of stories out there at the moment about a recall on the 05 S281's but I have not seen one yet. I heard some horror stories last Fri and I don't know if they are all true yet.

I'd go with the Whipple, particularly since that's what Saleen is using on the 2005's.

Saleen is using a Whipple casing with Lysholm internals. With their dual heat exchanger system, it will be the most efficient twin screw avalible. It is now avalible from Saleen as a complete kit for $4995.

I would say the best blower you could put on a 99 would be a Saleen series 5 twin screw blower. It is the biggest and most capable twin screw avalible for 2v 4.6.
