Default engine break in

I've never owned a supercharged car before, was wondering if engine break in is the same in a non-supercharged car.

Ok, the break-in period is the same for the s/c model. For the E models, it is a little different, but all the S281, S281sc's it's the same. With the blown car, there is also a supercharger break in period as well. This simply takes care of itself, but once the blower is fully broken in, it will become more efficient and your power will go up. Basicly, just vary up the rpms for the first few hundred miles and you'll be ok. If you are on the freeway, vary your speed so the rpm's don't stay at one place that long. After the first 400-500 miles, you can red line it once in a while. After around 800 miles have at it.
