RE: S197 Saleen vs Roush video
cool video, well done. i was suprised (as most of you were)that the saleen won the handling, but lost the acceleration. i would like to see a rematch of the extreme vs. the P-51..........

I agree. Let's line up a PJ or an E car against a Trak Pak or a P51 (though, I think P51 owners won't be the 'take it to the track and beat the living daylights out of the car' type crowd.

I was going to buy a Roush or Saleen, glad I bought the Roush 428R, both cars are in a class of thier own. It bothers me that the Roush has less power and more weight, some one is underating or overrating or a little of both, glad I'm in the under rated car though.

And....would someone tell the folks at Roush to putALLtheir upgrade goodies on their Flagship car already
Remember also that the 427R doesn't even have the road coarse suspension package like the Stage 3's and Trak Pak's.

Lets not forget who comes out in the crapper when or if you have to sell your "aftermarket" Mustang whether its a Rousch or a Saleen.
If its the Rousch, you have serious problems...BOOM. No NADA values=no resale value. Its inconcievable to me that a entity like Rousch has not put the effort into getting a baseline value set for their products. Credit Saleen for getting that part right.
I'll gladly give up .2 of a second in a test to keep some of my resale value in the used car/collector market.
That .2 will never show up in real world tests- IOW, its not gonna show up between 2 yo-yo's that happen to pull up at a red light on a muggy summer night.
