Default Oil-separators?

Anyone use these in their cars? My car is in the shop getting a couple of goodies along with a brand new tranny () and I purchased one to have installed. Supposed to be a big help from blow-by and keeping the cars running smoothly. I was told anyone that is FI'd should have one. I'm eager to see how my car runs with all the extra goodies I'm getting

yes, they are a must in my opinion!!! We have been doing some testing with a custom designed one. So far, so good. I can tell that the amount of oil that was in our s/c - intercooler was amazing!!!.....with only 5K on it. I hope to have everything wrapped up shortly. I will have pics to see all.

How much are you gonna be selling them for? Or are you even going to? I was looking at the Moroso ones but I did not want to spend that much on it. I was going to go with the Steeda one until I saw that Jegs makes one and it was only $45 so I'm going to give that a shot.

Now why did you have to go and tell me that! It was bad enough seeing the buildup inside the throttle body (used carb cleaner to clean up). I'm kicking myself for not installing a separator after I drove it off the Ford lot.

I do not have a price on them yet, but they will not be cheap....like the cheapy worthless ones one buys at home depot, etc.

Here is a pic of the intercooler after being pulled out.

Good. Why would you put a cheap piece on an expensive car? To save $40-$50? To me that makes no sense. The extra money is cheap insurance in the long run.

Casey, I was going to buy the Moroso but will wait to hear from you. Send me a pm when they are available.

Lingenfelter Eng. makes a real nice one, and it has a filter that can be cleaned.

You can buy them direct, or get them on eBay.

nooooooo!

Unfortunately, I think our cars need the separator on both the driver and passenger side.
