Default Saleen Supercharger Advice!!!!

Hey guys, I'm new on here but I've read a few forums and you guys know your stuff and I'm hoping you can give me some advice...

I have a 2005 Saleen s281 3 valve and I'm looking to put a saleen supercharger on it. This guy is selling tells me he's selling his "Saleen series 6 with 39lb injectors and BBK Power Plus Twin 62mm throttle body 4lb pulley" for $1500. It's got 8,000 miles on it and he said he hit a rock and busted his radiator so he took off the supercharger and gave the mustang to his son. I don't think the guy knows much about cars, I'm no pro either, but it seems like the supercharger and it's componants should be fine. I'm looking at the S/C this week, what should I look for? Could this work for me?

Guy was on crack! had the S/C painted all funky colors and he even tried to run a NOS setup through it! Who knows what he's done to that thing... he even offered to knock $500 off the price before I even said anything! Not gonna lie... i kinda got my hopes up.

I agree...for 3-400 bucks you could have someone go thru it, strip the paint off and paint it back flat black. You'd still have less than 2 grand in it!

A steal if you are willing to put a little effort and money into it.

no hoses and no intercooler no lines. Just the main head unit. I feel i hear so many horror stories of people buying things like this and ending up getting in WAY over their heads! I think I'd rather pay more for some peace of mind.
