Hey guys, looking for some help. Found a car in Clifton NJ (at the Ford Dealer) that I am looking to purchase. I live in Alabama and was on business up in Baltimore last week and drove up over the weekend to look at it. Car is in good shape, needed minor cosmetic work (some scratches and such), but the dealer was having an issue with the blower (would not kick in for me). I am about 99% sure I am purchasing this car, but I need someone to take a look at it, assess the body work I asked them to do and test drive it to check out the blower operation (according to them it was an electrical issue from the previous owner). I would also like some pictures of the body work (if possible) before I pull the trigger. The vehicle is supposed to be out of the body shop by next Friday.

I called JDM but they are unable to pull anyone off the job to do this. I am willing to compensate for your time and trouble.

Jim Sr. from JDM was nice enough to agree to help me out on this one, however the dealer decided to try to screw me and upped the price by $3500 over what we agreed. Therefore, I will be without a Saleen once again...

If you are looking for a used Saleen, I would try giving Brian Black and Black's Automotive a call. They are straight up guys over there and will give you a good deal on a used Saleen.

Jess from Saleen sent me an email and I had a nice discussion with him today. He pointed me toward the regional manager who returned my phone call promptly and promised to check in on the situation and call me back tomorrow. Even though it's a used vehicle, Saleen seems to be at least trying to help.

I may have a purchased a Saleen by the end of the weekend...
