Personally i would never INVEST money in a car..it's a depreciating asset. Buy what you want to buy because you want it, not because you think it will "earn money" go buy a bond, stock, or a house if you're looking to EARN money on your investment.

Exactly!! INVEST in a brand new car? Especially one that cost $60K? What are you thinking? Here's a better plan for a new car - Buy it, drive it, enjoy it!!

100 per year is pretty rare. I am 42. Still,I will be 75 before these things would be worth any real money, assuming gas powered cars are around then.

Thats why I have no problem modding my car up. My grand kids can worry about the "investment" long after I am gone.
