TECHCO Gearing Up Aftermarket Offerings Including 100mm Mass Air Sensor
From SOEC...
TECHCO of Anaheim, California, recently introduced its 100mm Mass Air Sensor, the largest on the market today.
Manufactured in-house from billet aluminum, the TECHCO AS10 delivers improved horsepower, torque and mileage from your 2005-current 4.6 or 5.0 Mustang by simply replacing the restrictive stock mass air sensor, which is also a limiting factor of aftermarket cold air intake systems.
The flow-bench tested design of the TECHCO Mass Air Sensor provides airflow increases of up to 45% and installs in 10 minutes or less. Compatible with most all other aftermarket enhancements such as computer upgrades, cold air intakes, TBI spacers and free flow exhaust systems.
Related to this, Drew Phillips of autoblog is presenting a piece on the team assembled at TECHCO, which includes longtime Steve Saleen-groomed talents Jimmy Moore, Billy Tally and John Spruill, as well as many others who up until recently called 76 Fairbanks their "home away from home." TECHCO is gearing-up a complete line of late-model American Muscle go-fast goodies, and they have recently acquired former Saleen SpeedLab aftermarket sales ace Carlos Duran.
The MMR kit uses 4 in tubing which means it is 4 inch OD not ID. Also one quick fact is that on that kit the location where the MAF sensor is located is necked down even further.

The Techco MAF Housing is a true 100mm.
Unless their picture is wrong, the tube from the T-body to MAF sensor housing is connected with a reducing coupler. Even if they use 4 inch tube through out, you have to subtract the tube wall thickness to get the true Area of air flow.
