Pretty sure if you remove it you will have to replace it with something or the stock Mustang badge that was a "take off" (big circular thingy) that was there originally or your deck lid will be naked

i left it off for awhile and it didnt look too bad but I put it back on after receiving 2 parking tickets for having my license plate in the rear window. Im taking it to court though

limitedex I am going to keep it so I can return everything back to stock if I decide to do that but I have seen some on ebay every once in a while
