Default Shaker Charger Question?????

My supershaker charger finally arrived..............the local dealership quoted me $8,650.00 out the door for install. Has anyone else had this done yet and if so, how much.........if you don't mind me asking?

As always, thanks for the info!

Default Dealership Retirement Plan-one install should do it?

Hmmm $8650.00 for the install, I'll bet thier mechanic has one helluva retirement plan, like right after your install he will be on a cruise to some exotic island.....

I would hope that is for everything! but the way it sounds, he just got his s/c in. and that they are charging that much for out the door install.

well if the mechanic is charging that much, he better take a cruise or buy his own island in a month or so.

I'll even cut him a discount and do the install for him for $8,000!!!LOL!!!! he'll save $700! LMAO!!!!!

Guess I could've been clearer on that one...................yes, it's for everything. Charger, parts, labor, tax! If that would've been labor only, I would've hung up the phone before he got past the first digit!!!!!! The more I think about it, I think it's a pretty good deal, cuz that's only about 1,000 bucks for labor, since remember, the PJ version is listed at $7,500.00 just for the kit, not including taxes.

Are they giving you a warranty with that install? Just curious.

...

I'm having my supercharger installed for $12,000 labor +tax. Does anyone want to chime in on whether or not that's a fair price?

PJ472,

What boost level is the shaker kit coming in?? I wouldn't want the run to much with the PJ's raised compression.

As far as total price, What all are you getting???? I believe the current kit price is around $6500.00. That would put you around $2000.00 for install. Am I right??

We will / can save you some install money for sure !!

Casey

The kit's $7,500 according to the website and the saleen guys in Troy........so that puts me at just over $1,000 for the install, tax, etc.
