Default Throttle body cables.

OK, so I recently installed a Series IV S/C to upgrade from the Series I on my 2000. I ran into a little snag. One of the two throttle cables wont reach to attach to the throttle body.
The one that doesn't reach is the one that snaps on to the T/B. The accelerator cable reaches fine but the old bracket is not the same as the Series IV, I think.

Here's my question: What is that non accelerator cable for and how can I adjust/pull out of the firewall/fender about 2" more so it can reach the T/B?

Edit:Is that other cable for cruise control? If it is, is it easy to adjust?

Crappy cell phone pic included.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, it is for the cruise. Saleen used one from another model.....possibly 99-01 cobra?? I can't remember.

And they did use another style mounting bracket for the series 4. See pic in link

Thanks Casey.

My next question is: Can I yank that cable out about 2-3" from the firewall/fender so I can hook it up to the T/B?

You don't sell those brackets individually do you?

No we don't. You might be able to move/modify it. You will have to pull out the fender liner. Look at the "cruise box" as i call it and see if you can re-mount to give more length.
