Im looking to get rid of the Saleen and i recently took it in to a Ford dealership for a trade in. They only offered $13,000. Now i only have the 3V model with the 475HP kit from Saleen and HID's. To me that just seems kind of low for an 05 with 38,000 mi. Does anybody think this is normal or are they just trying to screw with me.

Nada has low retail as 24,600 for an 05 3v. I think one would have a hard time getting that in this market but with the supercharger you should be able to get closer to that.. dunno. That is retail though and the dealership is probably just giving you GT trade in value.

mmmmm. crack pipe derived prices!
Why don't you offer them the same price for a new v8 as they'd ask for a new v6 and call it a deal? Same logic, in fact you have more credibility because Saleen changes a few more things over a gt vs a v6 and Saleen is a higher respected brand.

Tip of the Month, October: Do not buy the $730 Roush Exhaust which a Mangnaflow rep says costs to $117 make (polished, all ss), buy the $170 Roush Exhaust Tips estimated to cost $46 to make and weld them to another company's muffler. This also lets you choose how your car sounds.

You'll NEVER - let me repeat that NEVER - get fair market value for your car on trade in. Don't be shocked. Market sucks right now for perfomance cars, just look around.
Sell it outright if you want the best $$ for it.

Good luck ... that would have been a 'undeserved' hit on trade in.
Man, sad to see that low ball an offer.
