Question 1999 35th anniv. Saleen owners!!! Need ur help..

Ok guys I bought my car from an old-very-rich man. Well since I didn't bought the car from a dealer, and I forgot to ask the man. I was wondering do all the 99' original saleens come with a keyless remote.. or is it just some of them??? It kind of sucks when is dark and your trying to find that....hole? of course the key hole.. and next thing you know.. scratches appear around the key hole... Is there a way to tell if my car has some kind of keyless signal??? I totally lost the mans phone # so I don't know how to get a hold of him... anyways that was a very long time ago.... if theres any keyless signal in my car, I just saw this keyless remotes on ebay pretty cheap... hopefully i cant get some info 2 see if I should buy one or not.... Thank you for any info....

35th anniversary Saleen....? when 2019 comes around, I would like to see one (first Saleen was on an '84 Fox Body)

My car came with a Ford alarm that was keyless to unlock the doors and disable alarm, but does not start the car.

Contact Ford dealer and talk to them about a new remote. There will be a special code and will need VIN for sure. Option two: Go get yourself an alarm installed by a stereo shoppe and will have same options. Theirs will have cool blinking lights too!

Jazzer

EDIT: I realize you were referring to the Mustang 35th anniversary, but just had to rib the new guy. Welcome to MF's

For the 1999 Mustang re-design, Ford omitted the passenger side key lock and made remote entry standard. Keyless entry was standard across the entire Mustang range. So, purchase new or used remotes and have them programed at your local dealer. If you do a search on the various Mustang Forums out there... you should even find DIY directions on how to program.

All 1999 Mustangs have the 35th fender emblems. If memory serves correctly, Saleen only build four S281s based on Mustangs with the true Anniversary package from Ford.

Enjoy your new toy!
