Yes, they do have great hold you in your seat abilities.
Typical Stage 3 power comes in at 435hp/400tq flywheel at 6 psi. If you want the higher end right out of the box, the P51 is rated at 510 hp and ditches the stock long block in favor of an improved bottom end to take the abuse from the TVS blower.
Curb weight on the S197 (05+) Roush cars was reported at a touch over 3400 lbs, but after some discussion, we are questioning how exact that is. I'm sure someone will know better than I. If you opt for the Drag Pak or the Track Pak - you loose some of the weight.

My $.02 - Buying a performance car is not going to make you money, but in the long run, you're going to be better off buying something like a Roush instead of buying a GT and modding it yourself. They have already done the engineering for you and the car has the Roush name associated with it for resale. Plus, they have many packages to choose from and most of them perform well and look way cool. Whatever you decide, let us know and post pics!
