I also have the Saleen 475hp Kit and upgraded to the 3.4 pulley, Gates belt, Saleen Extreme Intake, Vacuum Line Kit and JDM Tune and it makes a Hell of an improvement! I like the fact that the boost comes on sooner as compaired to the Slaeen tune and and my ave. FE went from 16.6 MPG on 91 to 20.1 with the JDM set up and 93 tune.

I have put my trust in JDM and their tune knowing that it is ultra conservative.

Also at anything above 450 rw.hp you will need either a boost a pump or a dual pump or you will be running lean on the top end.

Good luck,

I was told the 2.8 pulley might be pushing your luck, but 3.2 or 3.4 pulley is fine with a safe tune from JDM or Brenspeed.....

I'm running a 3.2 pulley dual pumps and E-car Extreme air kit, with no problems whatsoever..but I DO add a small mix of 107 octane to 93 octane to eliminate detonation issues....

yeah i really like these people at JDM, they respond to emails fast and give you great info, i was told that the stage 3 will put me at 500 RWHP and will cost 3800 with install, seems like a real good deal to me, ive already saved up half of that, so im looking at summer probably

Better start saving an additional $4k for a new bottom end if you plan on running 500rwhp all day. These cars can take 500rwhp but not for long....

I would honestly like to hear from some folks who blew their bottom end running a 3.2 setup from JDM. Too much speculation around here on what is or is not safe...Let's see some facts!!!

I drove around a whipple charged GT at 12 psi running 519rwhp for about a year...car has over 25000 miles on it (every one with the whipple) and it holds extremely fine. Every car is different, yours could last with 550rwhp or even blow up at 450rwhp

If you have 435hp set up you are at around 365rwhp. You should be at 430-450rwhp with the 3.4 set-up the others and myself have. It will depend on what other things you have done. I would defintely do the twin fuel pumps for peice of mind. If you don't notice another 65-80 rwhp I would be very surprised. Do you have 3.73 gears?

If you don't mind me asking, is 450rwhp not enough? If so, I would defintely plan for a forged bottom and better clutch just to be safe. In my experience, it costs a lot more to fix it after it blows than to bullet proof it before it does.

I agree with Mickey, you could blow at 450 or not until 550. Depends on the car, driver, gas, tune etc.

Good luck and keep us posted.

You cannot put a number limit of rwhp for these cars, only a ballpark...which is 440-540rwhp...
