I am currently undergoing getting an 04 saleen s281, white on white, conv. Well what is the base hp and 1/4 mile time? And i think it has a bigger pulley and cold air intake and tuned. What would be the hp after that, would it be pushing over 400. Also how is the exhaust? is it too quiet, should it be freed up a little? If you have any other ideas that you think that i should do for it right away to just get the most out of it let me know.

Doesn't do much good to guess and get worked up over the numbers. After you get it, take it to the dyno and the strip for a fun weekend! Do this BEFORE you start modding it, so you will have a baseline for comparison.

375hp at 5100rpm, 400ftlb torque at 3500 rpms, after that the rest is all up to you and where you want to be.

Are you reffing to a S281 or S281sc? To be close to 400hp it would need to be the s281sc.
