Fake E Car?
Hey all,
im 99% sure this isnt an E car.
The hood, car's #, seats, saleen production tag, 5spd, (not sure about the s/c)
says its not an E car.

You're correct with the hood, production tag, 5-speed, etc.
Recaros ended after 2002, for the most part across the different series. The only car I can think off after 2002 equipped Recaros was the yellow 2003 Steve Saleen demo Speedster S/C updated to '04 specs. Oddly enough, if you see current photos of his then previous Beryllium 2002 E Speedster demo, it attained the 2003 Saleen seats somehow... hmmm.
The E wing became standard in 2004, with center exit exhaust standard on the S/C, optional in the N/A, and the 6-speed as an unlisted option for non-E cars.
Just an overzealous seller, but nice to get the word out before someone buys.

Interesting....
It has R888's out back and "Saleen frame ties and transmission". Didn't know Saleen did any frame connectors and upgraded trans in the New Edge "E" rides.... I think dealer is confused and a little overzealous as stated above. It is a pretty car though an all in all I would say an OK deal. There are ALWAYS better deals out there, but if in the market for this model, you could do alot worse.

People should know what they are selling. I'm calling BS on the 485 hp to the wheels claim too without a laundry list of stuff to get it there (looks like all the factory components of a 2004 S281 SC besides the CAI tube and maybe the pulley).

I would find it hard to trust or respect - and thus even consider buying from somebody that isn't smart enough to do their own research. If its not a true E car, then damnit don't list it as an E car plain and simple!!! Also, know your simple facts....no such thing as GUN METAL GRAY - its called DARK SHADOW GRAY. Yeah its tedious, but I am that ****
