Yep. Still around. Working for L.A. Freightliner now. Doing Emission Consulting work for the new California regulations on Class 8 diesel trucks to become emissions compliant with the installations of Diesel Particle Filters on fleets from 2 to 2,000. Staying very busy !

Hey anyone, what's even up with Saleen these days. Did they survive? Are they still putting out nominally upgraded cars that are really heavy, especially the wheels, and cost a ton above the GT?? Anyone?? There used to be a ton of chatter in this section, now most of these posts are ancient.. What's up?? Thanks, Erik

I have not posted enough on here over the years to be allowed to pm you, I guess.

I am looking at purchasing a Saleen that I can not get verification on. I've call Saleen and they tell me that they will not confirm that it is an Extreme.

I meet with the second owner the other day and he told me that the first owner went to Saleen in the last part of 2005 and wanted to purchase a Extreme. He was told they were currently out of them and production of the E was on hold. They then came to an agreement that they would convert a 06 S281 or S281sc into an E. I can visually see all of the components of an Extreme. However, no one can or will tell me if the engine work (forged crank, rods and pistons) was done. After a little research I found this thread.

My question for you, is can you see if this car was dyno'd as you stated that all E's were dyno tuned before being sold. I have not purchased the car as of yet, but if I do and you have a dyno sheet on this car, I will be in contact with you to purchase it.
