Default Just an update, for those who care:

I haven't posted here in a long time, but there might be a few here who remember me. I finally got rid of the Saleen, and picked up an 03 Cobra. I just wanted to get more out of the Saleen, and didn't want to drop all the cash for a built motor and tranny.

Picked up the car with 9,500 miles. Dark Shadow Grey. It was basically stock, but with the $ I got from selling the Saleen and all the parts, I was able to afford quite a few mods without spending any additional $ out of pocket.

I snagged some 18x11.5 and 18x9 CCW classics, and a Kenne Bell supercharger and supporting mods. Threw it on the dyno and it made 629/526 on 17# of boost (torco) and 590 on 93 octane. I recently bought a 21# pulley but haven't gotten it tuned yet.

Tried to run it at the track a couple of weeks ago but I was literally white smoking the stock clutch and only went 11.6. Got a McLeod twin disc clutch going in next week, so we'll give it another shot and hopefully see a 10.x!

Those are sick looking pictures. I love the DSG Color Very nice. To each is their own with regards to what you bought. The Cobra is a great car and I looked at buying an 04 Sonic Blue before I bought the Saleen. Glad you stuck with Ford. What year was your saleen and what did you sell it for and when? That will be able to let people know if you sold at the height of the market and got a great deal which it sounds like you did.

Congrats.

Wow......ridiculous power. I can only imagine what it's like to ride in that.

How in the world do you not shred your tires every time you step on the gas???

VERY nice looking ride, Day

Looking like a 2"+ drop there as well. Guessing Sportlines and no ISOS?. Anyway, I have always like the Cobra and sometimes kick myself for not finding a Saleen Cobra myself.

Jazzer is happy for his pepes

EDIT: That "evolution" vid is spectacular and the music is an excellent choice, bravo . Ahhh..... I see, you CUT the springs, went SRA and CO's, nice!.

Thanks! Yes the solid rear has adjustable coilovers so the ride height is easy to change. For the front, the Cobras have linear springrate springs, not progressive, so it's OK to cut them.

Thanks man. My Saleen was an 06 N/A. I put the JDM Stage2 kit on it (Saleen blower @ 10#) Car made around 450/435. The camera used for the Cobra shots is a Nikon D60 with a kit lens. He's a really good photographer, and really good at editing too.

Here are some shots of the Saleen (not shot with the D60)

Nice Cobra.

I have looked into picking one up since the prices have really started to tank on the 03/04's.

There are quite a few for sale out there it seems.

Honestly, there are no words to describe a machine like this. Other than bad f**king a**.
It has been a while since I have seen a Terminator that makes me wish I had the balls to sell my Saleen.
Sweet Lord get this thing off here before we all end up doing it! haha

Awesome car Day, you should be proud!
