Any low pro tire should be considered only for better cornering. Besides a drag radial low pro tire I don't know of anything available for launching.

Yeah baby!

Runnin' 315/30's on 11's

I would recommend a set of 17"s and go 35 series though as they would be better for launching. Better yet, get a set of 15"x10"s and go with MT DR's for some SERIOUS axle breakage!

Keep the PS2's and get the larger rear rims with drag radials. Put them on when you want to have some straight line fun. I have done this before and found it a lot of fun. PS2's are a great tire, imo.

I agree no tire will help with launch other than a drag radial. Setting your rear suspension up properly (control arms, adjustable shocks) can make the most of either set-up.

Did you just have your back rims stretched or did you buy some 11" replicas?

That sounds awesome, Jazzer! I've always wanted some ridiculously wide tires out back. It just looks cooler.

Neither

I had them cut/widened by Weldcraft Wheels and can see my ride in the gallery ***HERE***. There are lots of places that do this work, but would NOT go anywhere else.
