That year S3 should runs 12's all day right out of the box. Just remember that the suspension is set up for corning, not launching.
Those mods will put you at roughly 380ish at the wheels assuming your motor and tranny are in good shape.

^+1. Get the car on the track and you'll really see it shine.

Cool

Several S3 owners have listed their mods and their results.
Thread.
We've tried to get as many owners and variations as possible. Some build for the track, straight and curvy ... others just for big number bragging rights. The bottom line is for HP 400rwhp is achievable. As for 1/4 results ... times will vary based on skill and conditions but 12s is the ballpark most have found themselves in.

I'm not sure about 380ish at the wheel...

It's rated 360 from the factory at the flywheel which would equate to around 295ish to the wheels. The pulley should net you around 30 and the LT's and the intake should get you another 25. I'd argue a little closer to 350ish.

Still a sweet car. I'd say high 12's depending on the driver on stock tires.

*EDIT* That's an awesome thread, smoke! Thanks for posting it!!!
