Hopefully in about 12-18 months I will have a new motor...Car goes back to techco in two weeks for the 3.6 pulley which will put me around 7.5psi @ around 475-480rwhp...conservative tune with not much boost, should be very safe with a good a/f
those numbers are the highest i would go on the stock bottom end. Its plenty of power and on the safe side!
Our heads love to be ported...you should pick up some serious power. Yep, blew my motor about a year ago. Not 100% sure what happened, but the alternator was bad (so it could have caused the fuel pump to hiccup under high rpms), and a spark plug was bad. The spark plug could have gone bad after the motor went. A/F was right at 11.5 and timing was conservative.
very true. i am hoping in a few months i will have money for track wheels and tires and an alum d/s so i can hit the track and see what she can really do!
he...he...he. I remember back in the day with Mickey was trying to salvage enough money for some decals. Now he's got cams, blower, painted rims, barricade decor....how the time goes by.

When do I get to see vids and pics of your new setup? When will she be done?
I've been asking the same questions for months. I was able to drive her around for the mustang show in February and I was stupid enough not to take pictures than. And just like all of us I decided to bring her back for a custom throttle body and 3" midpipe. I'm hoping for next week since everything is on the car now and they just have to finalize the tune.
