So there is a Ford dealership in Half Moon Bay, CA that is interested in doing a trade with me. My 2002 Saleen s281 s/c with 45k for their 2004 Mystic Cobra 30k. I know the difference should be around $5k if we go off their asking price.

As long as the car is in good condition, youd be trading in a car with parts that would be harder to replace, for a better car with lower mileage with parts that easily available... i say do it.

Aside from the agreed upon value ...... I like the trade in. The Mystichrome is an eye catcher in a different sense the SALEEN, but nonetheless sexy.

Looks like an unmolested Cobra which are becoming harder to find. I'd get it. If I were buying it outright I'd give 25.

I would do it! They built around 520 mysti color, so it is somewhat rare. " last I checked with Ford, the steering wheel is $900.00+"

I would shoot for around $24-25K. Then pulley, exhaust, cai, tune and run 11's !

The owner of the dealership is a car guy. His son is a racer. They sell a lot of GT500s there. I have talked with him a couple of times. Seems like a good guy.
