Should I pull the trigger?

Should I pull the trigger?
I need some input from other Mustang and Saleen enthusiasts.
I've currently got an '06 GT vert with 30K miles. I made the decision to go supercharged when I thought it might be worth weighing the options of getting a new supercharged car versus putting another 10K into SC and supporting mods (wheels, tires, suspension). So, I started looking for deals.
I found out that Ford is offering 0% for 72 months on 2008 model Mustangs and this includes Saleens and Roushes. I found an '08 Dan Gurney Saleen at a dealer close by and they have drastically reduced the sale price and then I'd get 0% interest on top of that.
So, I drove up to look at it and drove the car. It's absolutely gorgeous and drives like a dream. It's exactly what I want in a Mustang.
The bad thing is the day I went up they only offered me $4,000 less than payoff on my '06. So, I walked. Now, they *really* want to sell this car so they called me yesterday and offered to payoff my '06 in full if I buy the Gurney.
It's about $15,000 off sticker plus another $1,000 in rebates and 0% for 72 months.
So, should I pull the trigger? It's still an expensive car. I can afford the payments without a problem, but I don't want to pull the trigger if it's not as good of a deal as I think it is.

Considering that they are paying off your residual which was valued in a much better market and they are taking 15k off I would say that they should at least throw in a golden toilet.
Actually I can't stand to see these cars sit on lots because people think they are ugly and don't like them. Considering you're one of the few people that like it if you want the truth on the issue they're probably loosing $100 give or take mainly on your trade in before the documentation fee. This information is straight from Campbell Ford which is the largest volume Saleen dealer which I called on your behalf. I'd personally tip your sales guy $50 and buy the thing already if I wanted one, but that's me.

It sounds like a good deal. Dealers are gettign desperate. You might want to counteroffer with asking a little lower on the saleen? Im sure you will be very pleased with the car too. Esspecially in the long run. I had an 04 F150 before my saleen and spent about $10-15k in mods. I didnt want to get that mod bug again so I bought the saleen which is somewhat "premodded" to help my modding problem. It still isnt 100% better but it helped haha. It will also probably hold its value a lot better in the long run.

Yes that would be an awesome deal. I met up with a guy here a couple of weeks ago and he had a Gurney. He also owns a PJ and a GT500.
He said out of the three the Gurney is the funnest to drive!
Here are some pics...
I hope the deal works out for you. Let us know.
