Suspension Question
has anyone changed any suspension on the saleens?
What would by my best option for lowering just the front .5-1in? Different springs? Is this a retarted idea?
input welcome

Mickey Knauss's Barricade 3v has that and his bumper is very messed up from it I've heard.
Considering your car handles equal or better than a GT-R or Ferrari F360 now in terms of numbers I wouldn't touch anything and mess that up.

Do you want to lower your car because you think it will look better, or are you trying to make it handle better?

As some one who's driven but not owned the F360 back to back with Saleen, not only is Saleen faster (by at least 5% which I have magazine reviews to back up) but the Ferrari is actually harder to control. The Saleen goes around the track without much drama and is fairly lazy while the slower Ferrari feel like it's attacking you while you drive it.
The F360 is easily more fun to drive but not faster. The one area where I prefer it over the mustang is in throttle pedal response because it's set up in a much more sporty way and more easily controllable the mustang always has a problem with it's throttle.
As a Ferrari owner you would say it's the best though.

I wouldn't lower mine anymore than it already is due to poor roads around me.

I'm quite a realist. The Ferrari in my garage may be the best looking car there (subjective), but it is not the fastest, or even the best handling. It is better handling than a stock suspended Saleen that is for sure.
We still need to figure out why the OP wants to lower his car...

it would mostly be for looks I suspose. I didnt take into account how the car would handle, but now im thinking about it more and more. I did a quick photoshop because I am also considering a black PC on the wheels, or a "black chrome" finish.
black chrome, and rake below.
