I think the total weight of both the tires and the rims is more than 40 pounds.

According to www.tirerack.com, the Pirelli P-Zero Nero's are 31 pounds alone.

The You're looking at roughly 35-40 pounds per rim and another 30 per tire.

This is why I ditched those wheels and picked up the 5 spoke Forged "E" wheels. They save roughly 10 pounds per wheel.

Dave, the fronts are 41lbs and the rears are 43lbs..shouldve called me, queer

The Dark Horse wheels are forged. I believe they weigh a bit under 30 lbs.

nope, 31lbs for the fronts and 32.5lbs for the rears

The DH wheels are lighter and yes the weights I gave are for the rim alone. Not sure why I typed tire also.
