Default Gauging interest

I was talking to a fellow mustang owner the other day at a local car show and he said he was looking to make a front chin spoiler similar to the saleen extreme except not carbon fiber to bring the costs down. He said most likely it would be a black ABS finish. He wasnt sure what kind of interest there would be in it so I told him I would ask around. Would anyone be interested in something like that? He was going to use my car for a demo since he didnt have a saleen (had a gt500). How much would you pay for it? It wouldnt be as near to the $1200 CF one.

Its for the 05+ saleen but I can see if he is willing to make one for the 99-04. $1200 is for the carbon fiber one. The abs plastic one will probably be around $400-500

The price isn't bad, but if he could bring it down to $200-$300 he would sell quite a bit of them. Heck I would buy one if I ever cracked my CF one.

I would definiltey be in at the lower prices. The higher it goes, the more I'll lose interest in it has a "have to have item".

so it looks like for $200-300 its a "have to have" item whereas $400-500 its an "ehh...maybe" item?
heres just a closeup pic of the CF one. should be exactly the same design.
