Dyno work is out in Frederick, MD on a dynojet. No chip in my car. Just an SCT custom tune from Woodbine Motorsports.

Shooting for a dyno run this week to test everything out.

*EDIT*- Dyno run will be this friday morning.

Cant wait to see the results of your dyno. Jim Jr. (JDM Engineering) is letting me use an 8 rib S/C pulley to make my mosaleen idler system work for the 8 rib systems, will have soon.
I cant tell you all how many people are sceptical of my product, I have mailed out many saying if you dont like it send it back for a full refund - mailing cost. I have not had to refund any 99-04 mosaleen idlers in the 5 years selling.

All I asked evil to make sure of was to make sure the air intake charge temps. are both the same on each run. If you dont mind post the air intake temps or show on dyno sheet.
On my 2005 S/C both runs were made at 130 degrees air inlet temp.
On my 2000 S/C Saleen Series I ported, had Chicanes 66mm S/C pulley, 110 inch. belt he recommended. Saw belt about to jump off the S/C pulley on the dyno. Made this system bolted it on same 66mm S/C pulley 112 inch. belt Goodyear Gatorback , no mods changed, made 34 rwhp and 43 rwtq gain from the last time I had been to the dyno with other mods. The outside temp. was around 7 to 10 degrees cooler.
Thanks Scott

Please post up your findings with the 8 rib kits. If it makes power, I'll take one. I can dyno back to back, same day. in fact leave the car on the dyno while I instal, to ensure consistancy

crusin777, Hi, I just got a 8 rib S/C pulley yesterday. It depends on how far back logged my machine shop is before the 8 rib system will be ready. You will be the first one I notice and ship one to to test and tune. I am wondering how much the 8 rib is slipping really dont know, but the 6 rib slips. What is your email so I can contact you?

I also plan on giving your setup a shot, more for a peace of mind thing. For the price, I figure I am not out much. I won't be able to provide any hard numbers, however, as I will be installing multiple modifications at one time.

So here's the update:

INSTALLATION:

Installation of the idler pulley is a breeze. I did it in about 25 minutes. Excellent step by step instructions for the product. Pictures were easy to follow and even those that are not very technically inclined could feel confident installing this. A+

THE DYNO:

Dyno results were back to back and completed today. All results are Standard. 10 minutes of cooldown between the runs with and without pulley.

Run Conditions: 89 degrees and humidity was 27% (WITHOUT PULLEY)
Max power: 366
Max Torque: 380

Run Coditions: 85 degrees and humidity was 38% (WITH PULLEY)
Max power: 362
Max Torque: 375

CONCLUSION:

I did 4 dyno runs. Two with pulley and two without pulley. Essentially no change in HP or torque numbers according to the dyno.

My temperature sensor was installed today and checked. The intercooler temperature never climbed above 130 despite multiple dyno runs. Credit the LFP heat exchanger/supertank and Chicane Intercooler for that one!

Dyno sheets will be up next week when I have a scanner.

I'll also post a little bit more of a final review next week and answer any questions you guys have about the test.

I am not an expert but does your decrease in power indicate that you (a) had no belt slip to begin with, and (b) installing the mosaleen actually increased the load on the blower causing a decrease in performance?
