Give him a PM....or better yet give JJ a call at woodbine motorsports. He's normally on some other forums....but not on this one as much. Very knowledgeable guy and he'll take the time to explain things to you.

Sorry its taken so long on getting the 8 rib system ready, I dont know what to do but
go to another machine shop, but this guy gives me a good deal keeping the cost to
customers down. I have waited 2 months to get the upgraded S/C pulley (with the holes in it) for the 99 to 04 mosaleen idler upgrade pulley done.
Evil I am still scatching my head on your Saleen, I just took a 2002 Saleen S/C with most of your upgrades but stock intake, ported series II and had pluged the intercoolers holes on the side up, all othe mods like yours. He had a 113 in belt on I put a 112 inch. belt on dynoed the car then put my idler system on and made 23 rwhp and 31 rwtq difference
SCT tuner The tuner tweeked the tune so the air/fuel ratio was at 11.8 to 1.
The owner said it gained 1 lb of boost. This is not just at on peak either it was 15 to 20 rwhp gain the whole dyno run. Yours is so WEIRD.
How does it run on the street, can you feel a difference in performance?
Can you see that the boost gained from before mosaleen idler was put on?

Nope. No boost gain from the idler pulley.

I did a video of a before and after to check the boost as it climbed through the RPM range. No difference between having the pulley on and off.

I noticed on a lot of the dyno sheets demonstrating the pulley people made changes to timing or made other upgrades besides just the mosaleen pulley. You never get a really good idea what the pulley itself is doing and how much of the gain is because of the pulley and not just because of something other modification or timing/tuning adjustment.

That's one of the reasons why I did my run.

On the dynos on my web site the only change was for the tuner to take timing out in certain areas so the air/fuel ratio would not be to lean, not over 11.8 to 1. The mosaleen idler stopped belt slip making the air/fuel ratio go above 12 to 1. There belts were slipping and it stopped the belt from slipping and put the hp/tq that the car had back to proper again. Im guessing your tuner had to do nothing to the tune since your belt was not slipping, I just wont figure out this one, o well 1 out of thousands not to bad.
I just had my 2005 redynoed and found out my fuel pump , the white plastic coupler had come apart, had problems. Fixed it and it put down some great no's. I took the mosaleen idler off and dynoed it with belt K061073 and the stock tensioner pulley made 447 rwhp and 414 rwtq air/fuel ratio 11.6 to1, put the mosaleen idler on and changed the tensioner pulley to mine put K061066 gates belt on and dynoed made 495 rwhp and 455 rwtq air/fuel ratio 11.7 to 1. Difference of 48rwhp and 41 rwtq . I had the tuner tune without the mosaleen idler then retune with mosaleen idler so the air/fuel ratio was almost the same so no one can say that was the hp gain. He even checked my boost and you can see the boost falling off at 3500 all the way up to 6200. Id hate to try to hold down these Saleens making 600 to 700 hp mine is hard enough.... LOL....
Thanks for testing it out and now I pay attention a little more on asking questions to see if the belt is slipping or not on customers cars... Scott

The dyno sheets are on my web site, mosaleen.com
Like evilgloo and I stated if your Saleen Supercharger belt is not slipping then that is right you wont gain. So far evilgloos is the only one that has said it did not gain.
I since have a guy at Steeda Auto sports with a 04 Saleen with lots of mods (as many as evilgloo) im having him do a test on his Saleen. He told me that he has no stop on the air/fuel ratio so it would gain if you added boost and there was a way to stop this for safety reason. I dont know but im going to post the results either way no gain or gain...
The 99-04 mosaleen idlers are totally different then the 05-09's They have been tested by
Mark Lamaskin Performance Auto Sport
Joe Chicane , Chicane Sports
Breenspeed , Brian, Brent
All have said it gained hp/tq and liked the product. If you all have any doughts have your car dynoed and check your boost level on the dyno to see if it is falling off or data log it.
Jim Jr. III has tested the 99-04 mosaleen idler before and all have gained hp/tq so far. He is going to test the 2005-2009 asap.
I would say that my offer to return your money in full except shipping would be enough to let you know this product works if your belt is slipping.
Mike Troyer out of Troyer performance has now tested the mosaleen S/C idler on the 07 - 09 S 331 and Harley Davidson trucks and has put one with everyone of his kits to sale and sending out letters to all that have bought his system in the past, Hum wonder if this works.
