So I had an incident two or three weeks ago with my spark plug being ejected from the head, and just got that fixed. Now my mechanic is showing me that my engine pressure is spiking to 70lbs and is dumping unneeded fuel into the engine, so it dies. Sometimes it happens on start up, sometimes it doesnt. He is the head tech at one of the Ford dealerships here close to town and showed me two errors that popped up when the check engine light came on.
1. Says something about the pcm something or other... and in the shop book it says, contact after market company... so he assumes they are talking about the saleen tuned pcm.
2. mentions the fuel rail something or other, and so he is certain that it is the PCM that is causing the problems.
Now my problem, while his locating for any wiring problems, shortings or whatever, he told me to try and get ahold of Saleen and see if I can't get my hands on a pretuned PCM????
I don't know how to even go about this, but I was hoping one of you great members could point me in any right direction.
Thanks so much for any help
Mikey
