Default First Track Night!

So,

Last night I went to the track in Baton Rouge (about 2 hours from me). Man, I had a blast! Met some great people, got to run my car. It's my first time at the track, and my friends who were supposed to meet me there didn't. I didn't run great times in my Saleen S281, but that wasn't the point for me. Since this was my first time going to strip (to race or watch), my goal was to break into the 14's. I did that my very first run, as posted below:

R/T - .911
60' - 2.221
330 - 6.323
1/8 - 9.673
MPH - 72.14
1000 - 12.572
1/4 - 14.960
MPH - 96.64

Like I said, not great, but I definately feel I can get better. I had some better runs later, where I both improved my reaction time (not hard) and my 1/4 mile. My 60' was consistantly in the 2.2 range.

Man, I've been missing out.

Anyway, thanks for listening, I'll definately be going more! (Also, I didn't post in the Track and Strip forum due to access limits).

Glad to hear you had fun. It definitely gets addicting, the more you do it, the better you will get, and before you know it, you'll be draining your wiper fluid to reduce weight.
