Default KENNE BELL 2.6 BIG BORE FOR SALE!!! 4.6 2V

This blower is SWEET! I love it but certain bills come first, so I must let it go for now. The Blower is NEW only has had 700 miles on it, Have the proof!

I bought it Directly from Kenne Bell, The way the big bore comes is without Fuel injectors, COLD AIR INTAKE, or MAF. The total cost I paid for it with shipping came out to about $7,000, But Im letting this Beast go WAY CHEAPER with 60lb injectors, a cold air intake and a 90mm MAF (SCT 2800). Very expensive MAF.

My asking price is $6000, Wll work something out with shipping since ill ship it from my work you just let me know where your at! email me at goji4162@yahoo.com

The 2.6L BIG BORE picks up where the popular 2.1L BIG BORE 431HP 9 psi kit leaves off. Whereas the 2.1L is an "everything you need" kit, the 2.6L demands various stages of upgrades depending on your HP goals (see Tech Tips). It has a wide boost range of 9-26 psi to cover any application or combination. It covers a power range of 500-950+HP and is recommended for any built forged piston and rod 4.6.
On our Dynojet, the 2.6L kit at 20 psi made 682HP on a 8.1 compression ratio 4.6 GT with ported heads, cam and headers. That was 30 more HP than our Cobra test car at the same 20 psi boost. Obviously, the Kenne Bell and Ford 4.6 make for a great combinatioN.

Features

• 950HP rated supercharger. New design rotor profiles.
• Kenne Bell billet aluminum intercooler.
• Low loss/hi flow Kenne Bell heat exchanger.
• 9-24 psi boost range.
• 4 minute pulley changes. • 9-24 psi pulley combinations in 1.5 psi increments.

• Big increase in HP & torque - EVERYWHERE - not just at peak rpm.
• INSTANT FULL BOOST / HORSEPOWER & TORQUE at ANY rpm - 2000 up.
• No boost drop off at high rpm.
• No boost lag as with centrifugal superchargers and turbos.
• Does not depend on engine rpm to generate more boost.
• Fat flat torque curve.
• Lower gears not necessary.
• Cooler air charge temperature.
• 60ฐ-80ฐ cooler air charge temperature and requires 10-16 less HP to drive than Roots style*.
• Looks factory. Mounts on top of engine.
• Whisper quiet. No embarrassing and annoying gear noise.
• Internally lubricated. No tapping holes in oil pan. Doesn't use engine oil.
• Billet aluminum supercharger (others use cast aluminum).
• Manifolds and supercharger all pre-assembled and tested.

• All emissions controls active.

The E-hood has a slight raise at the cowl when compared to a stock hood. However, KB says I need a 2.5" to 3" cowl hood to clear the 2.6L. They also informed me that it is not Smog legal for CA and not a good choice for a stock engine, even at 9 psi, as the SC is working below its efficiency range. KB did say that the 2.1L fits under a stock GT hood and is CA smog legal.

It has a slight raise my hood fitsperfect.
As far as what kenne bell says they have to cover their as* which is understanding.
But my buddy has the same kenne bell on his 04 gt and the motor is stock he is at 8lbs of boost and i believe he is making about 430rwhp. And his motor is doing great! The reason none of us went with the smaller Kenne Bell is because, later on when you wanna build up your motor and u raise boost on the 2.1 it runs out of effiecency( I spelt that wrong im sure lol) Fast! And with the 2.6 you get way more hp at the same boost level you would have on the 2.1 . The Bigger the blower the more efficiant(spelling sucks sorry lol im a mechanic not a english teacher) ask any mechanic the works with blowers on v8's.

I believe kenne bell suggest running the 2.6L at 12psi or higher. Anything lower and the 2.1L can produce the same power. Either way if you have the funds to get the 2.6L why wouldn't you. Your always going to want to upgrade later.

But s281E Your right if you got the cash then go for it! I had the cash at the time but so much for that now :/
