When I originally purchased my Saleen, it was just a 3V. Since then I have done a few mods to it. Enough that I need to upgrade the brakes. I have tried to stay close to the Saleen line or Ford on any upgrades. So I was going to put the 14" on the front end that was the option in '06. My question pertains to who was the Manufacturer and were the rotors 1 or 2 piece? Any opinions and help here would be appreciated.

Brembo made the brakes in 05, and after that they were made by stoptech. there were both 1 and 2 piece rotors, but any new kit you find now will be 1 piece cause Saleen started using them cause they were cheaper. The 1 piece also squeaked more.

Thanks for the help Red Devil. So what your saying is the S281 S/C came equiped with 2 piece rotors in '06?
Depends on what time of the year it was. There was even 2 different types of 1 piece, one with a black center and 1 with a non-coated center. It just depends WHEN in 06 you got it.

I agree they are a little pricey, But I dont mind paying for quality. I plan on keeping the car for a while and dont want to cut the budget short were it counts, In the performance department. Besides where else would you go to ask questions that your not prepared for the answer? ha! ha! he!
