Default Upgrading an S281SC

I was looking over the list of things I've bought and the list of things I still need to get, and got to wondering if there was anything I was missing. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Here's my list:

Bought:
JBA LTs and O/R H
FRPP Hot Rod Cams
3.2 Pulley
HT0 Plugs
SCT X3
15lb Saleen Boost Gauge

Still need to get:
Saleen SuperShaker
MoSaleen Idler
Sieman Deka 60lb injectors
Dual GT500 Fuel Pumps

I know with all this I will be above and beyond the internal components threshhold, and will have to limit the car on a very safe PAS tune, but is there anything else I should pick up to install? Maybe Coils or Fuel rails? I figure while I have most of the top end off, I should do everything I can.

Fuel rails will probably not do anything for you. coil packs wont for sure. Id suggest a Ford Racing throttle body.

On all the descriptions of that throttle body, it says calibration required. What does that mean?

it means you will need a retune.

The factory TB will be fine with the power level you'll be at. Just save the $$$ for something else.

My suggestion would be to nix the mosaleen idler and buy a good tensioner. I bought the Roush and run the 3.2 and have never had any slippage issues (that I know of). I hear the Thumprr is a good unit, but pricey.

Default Throttle Body calibration

Incorrect. It does not reffer to tuning, but to calibration. You have to adjust the Voltage on the TPS for that TB. You have to measure the voltage of your existing TB TPS and record it, then when you put the new TB on and you need to adjust the TPS to match the Voltage to the new TB. You'd need a voltimeter for that.

Hope that clarifies.

Where did you find the Roush tensioner? Maybe I will look into it...

I thought maybe it was something along those lines. Just had a hunch. Anyway, how do you go about changing the new TB TPS?
